Mr. Colin Dore - Chairman of the Board
Mr. Colin Dore is very pleased and honoured to serve again as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nevis Air & Sea Ports Authority, having previously done so during the period 1999 - 2006.
Mr. Dore is a Chartered Accountant by profession and is a Member and Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of the West Indies. He is presently employed as Treasurer of the Nevis Island Administration.
Mr. Joseph Liburd - Member of the Board
Mr. Joseph Liburd is a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police who has served for thirty three years in policing. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Management from La Salle University, Louisiana. He is a community oriented person, and is one of the founding members of BETA (Boys Empowered to Achieve
Mr. Lemuel Pemberton - Member of the Board
Mr. Lemuel Pemberton has a varied background and a wealth of experience in many different fields. He holds a MSc. in Natural Resources Management and a BA in Geography from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and has specialized training in Marine Resource Management from Duke University Marine Lab. Mr. Pemberton also has a Trained Teachers’ Certificate from the St. Kitts and Nevis Teachers’ Training College. Mr. Pemberton initiated and led the first comprehensive programme on sea turtle nesting beach behaviour on Nevis. He is a fisherman and a sports enthusiast.
Mr. Clinton Swanston - Member of the Board
Mr. Clinton Swanston was born and attended school on Nevis. Upon completing his education at the Charlestown Secondary School, Mr. Swanston migrated to St. Croix, USVI, where he settled into sales and was an independent Insurance Sales Agent and Encyclopedia Sales Representative.
A great fan and lover of cricket, Mr. Swanston has always been actively involved in the game and was President of the St. Croix Cricket Association for two terms before returning to Nevis.
Mr. Swanston is a businessman.
Mr. Mac Kee France - Member of the Board
Mr. Mac Kee France spent 5 years as a high school teacher. He holds a Diplome Superieur in teaching French from L’Universite de Besancon, France. In 1991, he was employed at the renowned Four Seasons Resort Nevis where he has held positions which included Dining Room Assistant Manager, Grill Room Manager, Director of Restaurants and Assistant Food & Beverage Director. His present position is Director of Recreation with special responsibility for Local Unique Nevis Wonder Experiences. Mr. France was awarded Manager of the Year 2008-2009 at Nevis Tourism Awards in 2008.
Ms. Sonia Williams - Member of the Board
Sonia A. Williams is a graduate of Charlestown Secondary School. She holds a certificate in Supervisory Management at the University of the West Indies, Nevis Campus, 2009. Sonia worked in the Hotel Industry, primarily at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for over 22 years. She is currently employed by the Nevis Island Administration as an Alien Land Holding Liaison Officer. A long-time school volunteer, Ms. Williams is also a member of the Cecily Browne Integrated School Committee.
Ms. Florence Williams - Member of the Board
Florence Williams began her early education in Nevis and later her secondary and college education in England. Florence spent 23 years with a printing company mostly at management level .After returning to Nevis, Florence was involved in real estate and property management before joining Island Hopper as General Manager for 15 yrs. Florence is now retired but is still actively involved in the community as Secretary of the St. James Anglican Church Vestry.
Mr. Oral Brandy - General Manager
Mr. Oral Brandy joined NASPA in 2002 and held the positions of Senior Accounting Officer, Accountant, Financial Controller and Acting General Manager. He was appointed General Manager in May 2013.
Mr Brandy is a Professional Accountant and is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). He also holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Miami-Dade Community College.
Mr. Stephen Hanley - Airport Manager
Mr. Stephen Hanley was appointed Airport Manager on 1 March 2007. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Liberty University, Virginia, certification to practice Air Traffic Control and a distinction in Entry Level Meteorology. Since his employment with NASPA in 1999, Mr. Hanley has held positions as Air Traffic Controller/Meteorological Officer and Chief Operations Officer.
Mr. David Hendrickson - Chief of Security
Mr. David Hendrickson is a retired Station Sergeant of Police who served twenty six years with the Royal St. Christopher & Nevis Police Force. As a police officer, he received a wide range of experience in the Policing, Drug Interdiction and Firefighting. Mr. Hendrickson is a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) who has extensive training in Aviation Security (AVSEC) and Maritime Security (MARSEC). Mr. Hendrickson is also a National Air Transportation Association (NATA) certified refueller.
Mr. Ken Pemberton - Operations Manager – Charlestown Port
Mr. Ken Pemberton rejoined the Nevis Air & Sea Ports Authority in September 2013 as Operations Manager – Charlestown Port, a position he previously held from 2000 to 2008. Mr. Pemberton has vast experience as an insurance consultant/agent with major institutions in the Federation.
Ms. Shelley Weekes - Chief Operations Officer – Long Point Port
Shelley Weekes was appointed Chief Operations Officer at the Vance W. Amory International Airport in 2008. She now assumes the same position at the Long Point Port. Shelley successfully completed the Entry Level Meteorological Technician course in Barbados in 1996. Subsequently, Ms. Weekes underwent advanced studies at North Carolina State University. She also received training in Aviation Safety Management Systems and International Maritime Dangerous Goods. She is the Vice President of NASPA Sports and Social Club
Mr. Simeon Prentice - Security Operations Supervisor
Mr. Simeon Prentice is a retired Sergeant of Police who served twenty five years in policing. As a police officer, he had extensive work experience in the Traffic Department and as a Police Prosecutor. Mr. Prentice is a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO). He is also a Minister of Religion.
Mr. Llewellyn Collins - Marine Supervisor/Mechanic
Mr. Llewellyn Collins was employed by NASPA in 2009 and appointed as Marine Supervisor/Mechanic at the Long Point Port in 2012. Mr. Collins has training as a Diesel Mechanic. He was previously employed at the St. Kitts Nevis Coast Guard for 12 years where he rose to the position of Chief Engineer. Mr. Collins also worked for 17 years at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis where he rose to the position of Boat Mechanical Supervisor.
Mr. Daron Sutton - Chief of Air Traffic Services – V. W. Amory International Airport
Mr. Daron Sutton successfully completed his Entry Level Meteorological Technician course in 1994 and his Air Traffic Control course in 1995. He also completed certification in Aviation Safety and Security in Trinidad in 2006 as part of the University of Southern California (USC) overseas training program.
In July of 2006, Mr. Sutton was promoted to acting Chief of Air Traffic Services, and was appointed in 2008.
Ms. Patricia Parris - Accountant
Ms Parris was employed by NASPA in 2004 as an Accounts Clerk. She later held the position of Senior Accounts Officer. In 2014 she was promoted to the post of Accountant.
Ms Parris holds an Associate Degree in Accounting from the J.F Drake State Technical College, Alabama. She is President of NASPA Sports and Social Club and Treasurer of Bath United Football Club.
